What we doCo-operantics can help you to:
Co-operantics was developed from co-operative working experience and practices - but it will be useful for any group of people wishing to work together to achieve common social goals, so whether you are a co-operative, social enterprise or community group you will find useful tools, tips and techniques here. Co-operantics was recently commissioned by Co-operatives UK to write a series of booklets for the Making Local Food Work programme on co-operative approaches to dealing with conflict. From Conflict to Co-operation was written with community enterprises in mind, and aims to provide support for dealing with the inevitable conflicts that arise, as well as tools and techniques for avoiding unnecessary conflict through improving communication, decision-making and meetings, by coping with changes due to organisational growth and development, and by understanding the role of the Committee or Directors. Self assessment Check out your co-operative working skills with our
online audit. It
will take about 10 minutes, and will give you a snapshot of where you
need to be focusing your efforts to improve the way you work together.
You can print it out and circulate it, or complete
it online and send it to us for feedback on how Co-operantics can help
you improve co-operative working. |
